Description
The objectives set out below determine TDA scope of work for 25/26 for Legacy ponds and silos 11FTE: • Support procurement of sufficient ROVs with ancillary equipment, to support the programme in 2025-26. • Supporting ROV, tooling and spares available through Sellafield stores M-coding system. • Continued development of ROV support for bulk sludge transfer from FGMSP • Development of methods for downsizing and removal of miscellaneous waste items from the pond and bays. • Maintenance of work and control areas in line with Sellafield standards and expectations on housekeeping. • Facilitating delivery of suitable training courses in a timely manner, for SL personnel to fill recognised skill gaps and reduce reliance on contractors. • Maintaining a dedicated ROV contractor team with adequate resources and equipment for delivery of service and capability in line with the requirements of Legacy Ponds • Developing communication links with stakeholders, other plants and facilities and assist on a case by case basis as agreed with the Head of Operations. • Continuing to research, innovate and exploit ROV opportunities to accelerate Legacy Ponds objectives. • The scope of the service within the Task Form relates to Legacy Ponds. • Piloting of ROV systems to support operations when requested from SL to support any shortfalls in resource. • A 40k pot of funds will be managed to support plant and equipment underpinned by SL Management
