Cumbria County Council is seeking to appoint a consultancy team to develop scheme designs and provide the evidence for a business case for Carlisle Southern Gateway proposals\.\\r \\r The Southern Gateway proposal is an integrated programme of investments in active and sustainable travel and public realm\. It aims to better connect key developments at the Southern Gateway to Carlisle's city centre, an area including the Railway Station, Citadels, Devonshire Street and the former Central Plaza site, and to connect St\. Cuthbert's Garden Village with the City Centre
