\*\*Please note that the scope AND VALUE are in the process of being altered - the information below will be updated as soon as the new information is available \*\* The contractor is to undertake the following works to the Charles Darwin Building on the Frenchay Campus for the HAS Faculty\. > Take down and dispose of all existing suspended ceilings and replace with new as per Atkins’ design and in line with UWE standards > Take down and dispose of all existing ceiling mounted lighting and replace with new energy efficient LED lighting as per Atkins’ design and in line with UWE standards > Isolate, disconnect and remove all existing glass drainage and replace with Vulcathene drainage system in line with Atkins’ design\. > Isolate, disconnect and remove existing cold water distribution systems, both CAT5 and domestic and replace with new in line with Atkins’ design\. > Isolate, disconnect and remove existing hot water distribution systems, both CAT5 and domestic and replace with new in line with Atkins’ design > Isolate, disconnect and remove existing gas system and replace with new in line with Atkins’ design, including 5 new gas proving systems\. > Isolate, discounted and dispose of c\. 20 no\. fume cupboards and supply and install new\. > Remove existing AV cables and replace with new\.
