## Description

• Brighton seafront basketball court is the most iconic basketball facility in the city\. Footfall around the court through residents and visitors is huge\. This offers a unique opportunity to promote and grow the game of basketball\. • The facility itself was last repaired and repainted in 2020 with splashes of purple and magenta, the colours used for the Never Normal campaign, and the backboards promoted VisitBrighton\. • Participation in sport often comes with the barrier of cost\. With the increased pressures on residents and visitors to the city in a cost-of-living crisis, this facility has never been more important, to offer free and inclusive access to basketball\.
