Consultancy for National Infrastructure Assessment: Financing for Infrastructure

The purpose of this requirement is to: • Develop a thorough understanding of strategic financing choices faced made by the public and private sectors when seeking to fund infrastructure projects - drawing on examples of both the past and present projects and setting out the implications of these decisions. • Determine good policies and market practices that have been tested and exemplified through projects which could be put into future use. • Identify any market failure or market barriers which are crucial to long-term success of infrastructure that requires interventions. Form a view on the presence and nature of fundamental or systemic gaps in policies in infrastructure financing.
