Treasury Management Advisory Services

Overview Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council is in the process of reviewing the provision of Treasury Management Advisory Services. The current contract is due to end 31st March 2022. Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council is currently a debt-free Authority; our investment portfolio fluctuates from GBP0 up to GBP10 million approximately depending on activity, which is controlled "in house" with no funds invested via Fund Managers. The figure for our investment portfolio is expected to reduce over the coming years due to capital receipts currently in hand being fully utilised. It is also forecast that the Council will not remain a debt-free Authority during the period of the contract.
