Description
To deliver a short introduction to warehousing course to eligible 15-29 year olds who are not in employment, education or training (NEET). Courses may include 'Soft' skills such as communication, problem solving, working with others and ideally a work placement within the distribution/warehousing setting, the program may cover areas such as: o Maintain health, safety, and security in logistics operations o Develop effective working relationships with colleagues in logistics operations o Operate equipment to perform work requirements o Receive goods from deliveries o Place goods in storage o Process orders for dispatch to customers o Assemble orders for dispatch o Dispatch goods for delivery
