Work description

Staffordshire Moorlands District Council is inviting tenders for consultants to prepare a landscape and heritage appraisal of development sites comprising draft allocations made via its preferred options Local Plan and emerging Neighbourhood Plans. The Council is seeking a robust evidence base in relation to potential impacts of proposed site allocations on landscape character and the setting and statutory purposes of the Peak District National Park, and heritage assets and their settings. In addition, the study is required to recommend Local Green Space designations, including through a review of the existing ‘Visual Open Space’ designation.
