GB-Stoke on Trent: Staffordshire University Flight Simulator

Description

Staffordshire University has both an undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Technology and an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering. The University now require a flight simulator which will allow students to familiarise themselves with standard flying procedures for a range of different aircraft. This will need a Boeing type yoke as well as an Airbus type side stick, as well as rudder controls. The University also need to simulate student-designed aircraft and modifications to standard aircraft, as well as different flight scenarios and aircraft system failures. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
