## Description

The UK public telephone network is moving from an Analogue service to an Internet Protocol \(IP\) based service and network operators will cease all analogue provisions across the UK by December 2025\. The business needs services underpinned by PSTN to continue to function until the services are either ceased or moved to digital alternatives and are crucial for services across many customer groups at various levels of importance\. Therefore, a new Direct Award is needed to safeguard these services and to guarantee ongoing Service Operations until they are eventually phased out\.
