Description
Dacorum Borough Council (the Council) has a retained housing stock of approximately 10,200 homes and accommodates circa 47,000 residents. To fulfil its landlord responsibilities, the Council requires service provision to undertake services in the following areas: - Responsive Repairs - Cyclical servicing, maintenance, and surveying (responsive) - Responsive repairs are driven by demand aligned with a cyclical need to maintain the stock in line with legislation. Planned preventative maintenance can also fall within this category as sporadic work or as a wider cyclical plan. - Capital investment above the standard responsive or cyclical requirements. Capital investment over a 30-year period will fluctuate based on organisational strategy, market delivery or other external factors such as legislation or sector trends. - Compliance - To ensure services are delivered in line with, and meet, the required legislative requirements. The Council will appoint a number of contractors to carry out the service provision to the Council's housing assets. Some of the Contractors will also provide a service and maintenance service to the Council's Commercial Assets.
