## Description

The Council is working with local partners to prepare a Stage 1 \(preparatory\) application for the Gateshead Goes Local Community Led Local Development Programme and is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced consultancy to support this process and involve the following: Preparation of a Local Development Strategy, which builds on the partners initial findings and identify new areas of need as appropriate\. Support the development of a Local Action Group, including a delivery model and grants system to distribute funds as part of any successful scheme\. Formalisation of the Accountable Body process\. Contribute to the development of the Stage 1 \(preparatory Stage\) application for funding including explore opportunities for matched funding for management and administration activities and accountable body status\.
