Liquid Hygiene Products for the Pandemic Influenza Preparedness Programme ("PIPP")

Description

The NHS Business Services Authority (NHS BSA) wishes to procure for the benefit of Public Health England and the UK Devolved Administrations (Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland) liquid hygiene products to be distributed in the event of a pandemic influenza outbreak or any other health related emergency across the UK.These products form part of a suite of products for the treatment of patients within healthcare settings in the event of such a pandemic or health related emergency influenza pandemic. The approximate volumes required on a just in time basis in the DHL (or other nominated) depots during aPandemic outbreak are as follows: Lot 1 - Alcohol hand rub (350 ml - 600 ml) - overall volume required - 124 276 lt, Lot 2 - Liquid hand soap (800 ml - 1 200 ml) - overall volume required 91 003 lt, Lot 3 - Concentrated detergent (sizes should be tendered for between 1 l tt o 5 lt) - overall volume required47 885 lt. This framework agreement is for a period of 48 months. Additional information: NHS Supply Chain has entered into arrangements under which it will be entitled to purchase supplies and /orservices which it will make available for purchase by: 1- any NHS Trust, 2- any other NHS entity, 3- any government department, agency or other statutory body and /or, 4- any private sector entity active in the UK healthcare sector. Only NHS Supply Chain can order from the framework agreement and enter into contracts under it.
