Leach test system

NNL are seeking expressions of interest from suppliers who are able to implement a leach test for irradiated coated particle fuels. In order to simulate the envisaged disposal environment, the containment for the leach test needs to be a pressure vessel so that an atmosphere of 5 MPa of H2 gas can be applied. The system needs to be capable of being heated to 80 °C. To allow monitoring of the leaching behaviour, the pressure vessel lid needs to be equipped with feed throughs to allow for gas and liquid introduction and sampling; and recording of experimental conditions within the vessel.
