Technical Assurance & Advice - Road Safety Initiatives

Highways England is looking to set up a contract for provision of a specialist traffic signs engineering resource. The work will be carried out by a competent and experienced sign specialist providing support to SR-D National Senior Technical Advisors and DfT Designated Responsible Officers (DRO's), including representing SR-D at meetings as required. The appointed specialist will be responsible for the prioritisation and assessment of a heavy work load of Non-prescribed traffic signs applications (cases) and to make informed decisions on politically sensitive matters, whilst working to strict deadlines
