Description
The work is to create an outdoor seating area to the newly constructed café building. The work will also provide a space to the entrance of the building, physically separating it from the road The works include: Improved entrance area to new café building. This involves realigning the road and resurfacing to create a pedestrian area. The entrance space will include a planting bed, seat, crossing point, boulders, knee rail and bollards. New seating area facing the River Mersey. This will be in-situ concrete paving and include picnic style tables, an in-situ concrete retaining wall and cycle parking. The central island to the car park will be extended, to provide a better crossing point. This area will include boulders and bollards. Earthworks to achieve new levels to accommodate the new building. An anti skid dressing and road marking will improve the entrance to the car park
