Fire Door Replacement Contract

Description

Thanet District Council wishes to select and appoint a suitable supplier for the provision of a Fire Door Replacement Contract and invites prospective suppliers to submit a Tender to meet the Council's requirements. The successful Tenderer will be required to undertake the replacement of existing composite and timber fire doorsets, which are to be carried out on a planned annual basis to blocks of flats within Thanet District Council stock, consisting of: front doors, service cupboard doors, store doors, shed doors and communal lobby doors. In addition, the successful Tenderer will be required to replace meter over cover boxes, loft hatches an any associated works; asbestos sampling/removal and general repairs. Please note, non fire rated doors are excluded from this contract. The Contract is anticipated to commence upon September 2024 for a duration of 6 Years with one option to extend for 12 months, at the Council's discretion. Important Information: All procurement documents are attached to the notice and available for suppliers to download from the Kent Business Portal (www.kentbusinessportal.org.uk) and complete according to instructions contained. The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal Tenders. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Tender document. Any clarifications or questions must be submitted via the Message area of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 5 June 2024. Completed tender documents must be submitted electronically via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 19 June 2024.
