## Description

1508/311/SW/CTI/16 Steel/Nickel Base \(Air\) Heat Treatment Facility The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the supply of a Steel/Nickel Base \(Air\) Heat Treatment Facility for use within the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre's Castings Group at Catcliffe, Rotherham\. Scope of Requirement: The requirement is for a Steel \(Air\) Heat Treatment Facility which has the ability to heat treat steel/Nickel based castings up to 1250 degrees Celsius\. It is envisaged that the facility will consist of two furnaces, a transfer system, quench tank, and all appropriate ancillary equipment for the complete heat treatment of castings\. Tender Process and Documentation: This procurement is an open E\.U\. exercise carried out in support of a Prior Information Notice published on the 5th of August 2016 http://ted\.europa\.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:270822-2016:TEXT:EN:HTML The University has exercised its right to reduce the time limit for receipt of tenders to 15 days\.
