## Description

Devon County Council has a new statutory duty under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 to assess the need and create a strategy for domestic abuse support in our area for all victims \(and their children\) who reside in relevant accommodation \(as defined in: The Domestic Abuse Support \(Relevant Accommodation and Housing Benefit and Universal Credit Sanctuary Schemes\) \(Amendment\) Regulations 2021 \(legislation\.gov\.uk\)\), including those who come from outside of the area\.
