Media Monitoring Services

This contract is for the provision of Media Monitoring Services, more fully described below, to the BBC. The BBC is acting on its own behalf and as an agent of the BBC Group. Any reference in this document to the BBC shall be deemed to include a reference to the BBC Group and constituent entities unless the context requires otherwise.

Press Monitoring - monitoring of specified keywords and topics within print content and mainstream news, trade and consumer media including delivery of results and reports to the BBC;

Social Media Monitoring - monitoring of verified social media accounts of press, MP's, opinion formers and influencers and/or relevant hashtags as agreed on a rolling basis, including delivery of results and reports to the BBC, with an expectation that the platforms monitored will evolve as the social media landscape changes during the course of the contract.

Human-driven Evaluation and Analysis - the evaluation and analysis of the results of monitoring through human review, including delivery of results and reports to the BBC; and

Automated Evaluation and Analysis - automated assessment of the media monitoring results data including delivery of results and reports to the BBC.
