## Description

1694/328/ML/NAMRC/17 Materials Framework -Steel Alloy Cylinders The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders to establish a framework agreement with one or more suppliers on behalf of the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, for the supply of Cylinders in support of its NI502 and NI 504 Projects\. \. Scope of Requirement: The Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre has an immediate requirement for Cylinders / flanges as detailed in Appendix A of the Published ITT\. Tenderers shall note that a number of options have been identified to encourage the widest response; however, the Purchaser will accept the best fit to meet the needs of the project currently under consideration\. Preference shall be given to supply as follows: • Method of manufacture: Forging • Material Grade: ASTM / ASME SA508 grade 3 class1 \(Western / EU source preferred\) Tender Process and Documentation: This is an open tender exercise\.
