Defra - Review of Rural and Urban Business and Economic Statistics

The research aims to improve the understanding of rural economies in England through an improved appreciation of data sources on how economies operate in both rural and urban areas. This will include data sources on the experiences at a more local level of people and businesses based in rural areas, especially by comparison with the experiences of people and businesses in urban areas to identify similarities and differences.
