## Description

The cisco switches are needed to connect the Avaya Contact Centre and telephony platform to the Northumbria Police local area network with a link back to the force wide area network to ensure successful delivery of calls and contact centre system access\. There is a need for these devices imminently due to a key milestone of the telephony project\.
