Grounds Maintenance Services: Purbeck

Tender for the Provision of Grounds Maintenance Services to Purbeck District Council.

The Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified companies to provide grounds maintenance services to Purbeck District Council The Council currently maintains a variety of amenity areas across the District of Purbeck including grassed / lawed areas, ditches, woodland, closed cemeteries and natural grassland habitat. In addition the Wareham Walls (which are a scheduled ancient monument and surround the town of Wareham) are to be maintained as part of this contract. They consist of a series of huge earthen banks and ditches and were originally built in the Saxon period as defensive structures. The successful tenderer will contract with Purbeck District Council for a period of eight years with the possibility of a two year extension.
