## Description

The University of Lincoln was seeking tenders for a Scanning Electron Microscope \(SEM\) to replace an existing SEM that had reached the end of its supported life\. The SEM will have a wide range of potential uses including imaging of biological specimens \(e\.g\. insects, mammalian tissue sections\) and elemental analysis / mapping of material samples etc\. This opportunity has now closed and the supplier has been appointed\.
