## Description

In April 2022, the Authority in-housed its waste service and therefore now operates and manages 21 Recycling Centres for Household Waste \(RCHW\) and 4 Waste Transfer Stations \(WTS\) across the County of Essex\. As a result of this, the Authority requires a varying range of contracts to enable the waste service to operate effectively, including the purchase of new mobile plant Machines \(the Machines\)\. The Authority are awarding a contract to purchase a quantity of two \(2\) new Machines to be operational across the Recycling Centres for Household Waste \(RCHW\)\. Alongside this purchase, the Authority also requires the Contractor to provide a Repair and Maintenance \(R&M\) package as well as a provision for unscheduled maintenance services\. The Authority have undertaken a framework call-off process from the Procurement Services Framework Y23057 \(Lot 2: Purchase of Plant Machinery\)\.
