Renewable Energy and Carbon Management Strategy

1. Corporate Estate Carbon Management Strategy 2. Corporate Estate Delivery/Investment Plan 3. Identify opportunities from the Council's Corporate and Surplus Estate for new renewable projects of scale, to allow a variety of outcomes including carbon off-set, income generation and reuse of excess power/energy (including sale to other strategic partners and or more broadly to the wider market). 4. An options appraisal to identify an appropriate vehicle e.g. ESCO, to allow the Council trade energy it generates and act as a provider of renewable infrastructure and/or funding to defined markets (including schools, other Local Authorities and public sector partners) on a commercial basis to enable renewable projects/investment programmes.
