The overall objective of the project is to undertake a feasibility study looking into redevelopment of the former Mayfield school site on Moresby Road, Whitehaven to create a specialist school facility, operated as a satellite campus by Mayfield Special School\.\\r The council is looking to achieve the maximum size special needs school that can be accommodated within the red outline boundary\.
