GMCA 1452 Laundry, Repair & Maintenance of PPE

Contract award for the provision of Laundry, Repair and Maintenance of fire fighting personal protective equipment (PPE).

Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) conducted a further competition under the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisations (YPO) 01204 PPE Workwear, Uniform and Managed Services (Lot 16 Specialist Laundry & Decontamination - Including Products and Services) on behalf of the following Fire and Rescue Services, namely: - Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service - Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, - Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service - Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service - Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service - Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service

Each Fire and Rescue Service / Authority is responsible for conducting their own call-off contract.

The contract is for an initial period of three years, with the option to extend by two periods of 12 months. The contract term and value stated within this notice is applicable to the contract awarded by Greater Manchester Combined Authority on behalf of Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service only, and is inclusive of the optional extension periods.
