Description

We are seeking to competitively appoint a qualified drainage and plumbing contractor to provide specialized advisory, investigative, and repair services for the Housing Asset Planning and Capital Delivery. This contract will be for a period of two years, during which the contractor will be engaged on an ad-hoc basis to assess, inspect, report on, recommend and carry out remedial actions (following client approval) for ground-level pipework. Including the excavation and reinstatement of hard and soft surface materials. The contractor's responsibilities will support our investigations and diagnostics into the root causes of largely structural defects in existing residential buildings, newly acquired properties, external areas, outbuildings, site boundary walls, and other structures. Additionally, the contractor may be required to conduct condition, pipe mapping surveys in preparation for small-scale planned work projects. This contract will be for a period of two years (24 months) or up to the contract value of £100,000. We anticipate this will equate to an average of 2 surveys per month, however this is not guaranteed.
