Work description
The Department for Transport's (DfT) Aviation, Appraisal and Modelling team (AvAM) is leading on the development of an update to the National Airport Passenger Allocation Model (NAPAM). This forms part of the DfT's national aviation model that is used to produce forecasts for demand at the national level, passengers and aircraft at the larger UK airports and the CO2emissions associated with aircraft departures from UK airports. DfT is seeking to procure, via the STARTwo Framework, specialist technical advisors who can assemble a widely skilled team with sufficient capacity to deliver an update of the choice parameters in NAPAM, the airport choice model, working with data provided in large part by the DfT.
