## Description

The Council requires consultancy support to undertake two inter-related feasibility studies 1\. To identify road improvements along a Major Road Network \[MRN\] corridor in South Yorkshire\. The corridor includes a mix of on-line and off-line improvements\. Suitable routes for the off-line section of road improvement, comprising bypasses of the villages of Hickleton and Marr, are required to be identified\. The Strategic Outline Business Case \[SOBC\] for the proposition as a whole is required\. 2\. To identify and evaluate options for a suitable route to link the proposed Trans Pennine Tunnel to the Humber Ports between the M1 and the M18/M180\. This route could include the route under investigation in the first study above\.
