## Description

\*\*\*Modification of the Contract\*\*\* Contract Variation 001 - to extend the term of the contract to 31st March 2022, and bring the total contract value to £348,722\.53 \(excluding VAT\)\. The options to extend the contract term and increase the contract value were included in the original procurement\. \*\*\*PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION\*\*\* UK Research and Innovation - Science & Technology Facilities Council \(STFC\) had a requirement for the provision of maintenance and support services for the CDS expansion storage platform in Hartree Centre for one year with the option to extend for an additional year\. The Contract was awarded under the Single Sourcing Action \(SSA\) process in line with regulation 32\(5\)\(b\) where a change of supplier would oblige the contracting authority to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility or disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance
