TC037 Supply of Bread and Morning Goods

The Contract is for the provision of The Supply of Bread and Morning Goods to be used by The School Meals and Catering Services, Department of Place, Bolton Council.

The School Meals Service, meeting strategic commitments, has implemented an Ethnic Catering Policy. The policy requires the School Meals Service to:

• Ensure that consistent practices exist in all schools in respect of cultural diversity and religious dietary requirements

The Supplier will:

• Provide food products that demonstrate value for money and cost savings throughout the life of the Contract.

• Ensure the delivery of products is timely and effective.

• Procure and deliver high quality food products.

Products delivered must be provided to a consistently high standard and the Supplier shall ensure that the products are:

• Delivered undamaged and fit for consumption.

• Have appropriate shelf life.

• Are consistently of a good quality.

• Delivered on suitable vehicles

The Council will appoint a single Provider on the Contract.
