## Description

Lodge Park Sports Centre currently has an astro turf 3G outdoor pitch which is used mainly for football all year round by local clubs and recreational footballers\. It is also used by Lodge Park Academy during term time to take part in their PE curriculum activities\. It was last replaced over 10 years ago and is towards the end of its life\. In order to continue to provide a reliable surface to play on it will need replacing\. The astro turf brings in vital income from the hirers in the evening as well as the Academy during the day\.
