Mersey Tidal Barrage Marine Traffic Studies

The purpose of this procurement is for Liverpool City Region Combined Authority to secure Martine Traffic Studies for the Mersey Tidal Power Project (MTPP). This work is to support the ongoing design development and scheme definition as well as the preparation for the next phase to DCO (Development Consent Order) submission and determination. The Marine Traffic Studies will review and build on the work done previously which looked at the current and future traffic forecasts from a base year of 2019 (Pre-Covid) as well as modelling alignments and scenarios for a barrage scheme in the Mersey Estuary
