Newham IT Operating Model Consultancy

The London Borough of Newham and London Borough of Havering currently have a shared IT service arrangement with oneSource. Both boroughs have agreed to disaggregate from the shared IT service and create and transition to sovereign IT services.

This is a London Borough of Newham requirement for consultancy and advisory services to support the development and implementation of a structure for the sovereign Newham Digital, Data, and Technology service and to provide advice and assurance on a safe and expedient transition.

Scope of Services:

1. Advisory and Consultation:

a. Review existing advisory work and reports to input into the creation of a new operating model. b. Provide advice, assurance, and support for designing and structuring the new IT and digital service model. c. Assist in developing consultation documents and cases for change. d. Offer coaching, advice, and support to key staff members as needed.

2. Implementation Support:

a. Assist in the creation and agreement of an IT operating model that meets Newham's needs. b. Transfer knowledge and provide guidance on implementing the new structure and change programme, including timelines, resource requirements, and stakeholder engagement.
