Work description
As part of delivering a triple win for poverty reduction, biodiversity and climate, Defra is supporting the drive towards more sustainable agriculture internationally. The International Climate Finance programme (ICF) is investing in Impact Investment Funds (IIFs) which aim to deliver economic, social and environmental impacts from more sustainable agriculture. This requirement is for research to understand the Fund's biodiversity outcomes; quantifying impact, building on good practice and opportunity.
The Authority is seeking a Supplier to carry out a desk-based study and interviews with Defra's Impact Investment Fund partners and leading expert organisations in this field. These include the Joint Nature Conservation Committee, Food and Agriculture Organisation, Partnership for Biodiversity Accounting and Extended Specimen Network.
