BTA1804 - Destination Management Companies and Inbound Operators to Plan and Operate Showcase Britain Familiarisation Visits

VisitBritain's mission is to make tourism one of the most successful and productive sectors for the UK economy. One of the main facilitators for this is to actively encourage overseas visitors to holiday in Great Britain.

Our role is to drive ongoing tourism recovery and growth out of the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, by building back visitor spend as quickly as possible and supporting the industry. Showcase Britain seeks to support this by hosting senior overseas travel trade buyers from key markets, to a welcome event in London followed by market specific familiarisation trips, across the regions in England, Scotland and Wales.
