Through the development of the Sussex and Surrey IoT, the University is committed(and obligated) to start delivering Apprenticeships programmes from September 2024.The initial off ering will be for 3 programmes, from Engineering & Informatics andUSBS. There is no specialist expertise in the University until the Head ofApprenticeships role has been appointed to, and external specialist advice andsupport is required to establish the processes, procedures, roles and governance,this is particularly important given the high level of compliance regulations and number of external agencies involved, e.g. ESFA ILA and OFSTED.
