## Description

This is the award notice for Orthodontic Services Procurement in London for PDS contracts commencing in 2019\. NHS England are the Contracting Authority \(hereafter referred to as "the Authority"\) for this procurement\. These service contracts are split into 40 Lots\. Please see the linked notice for the detailed background of the Procurement\. The duration of contracts awarded as a result of this Procurement is seven \(7\) years followed by an optional three \(3\) years' extension period\. For the purposes of this notice, the contract award date has been shown as 5th March 2019 which is the date on which the results of the procurement and intention- to- award notices were sent to the bidders\. The contract start date is expected to be no later than 1st October 2019\. However, where incumbent providers have been successful in securing new contracts of comparable size to their existing contracts, and where practical, the Authority will work with those providers to mobilise these contracts more expeditiously\. This is because it is expected that in such cases a long mobilisation period would not be required\.
