HMP Manchester Combined Projects

Description

The Ministry of Justice has awarded a contract for the design and build delivery of construction works at HMP Manchester, a high security custodial establishment located in Manchester city centre. The works comprise the completion of refurbishment and security related capital works following the insolvency of the previous main contractor. The scope includes, but is not limited to: Replacement of custody windows Repairs to atrium glazing Repairs to the Grade II listed tower Installation of security netting Security systems upgrades The contract was awarded following a mini competition under the Crown Commercial Service Construction Works and Associated Services 2 (CWAS2) Framework Agreement (RM6267), Lot 5, in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
