## Description

The Council requires a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to provide kennelling for stray dogs\. The Council has a duty under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 \(as amended\) to kennel stray dogs for a minimum period of seven clear days, including any dogs defined in Section 1 of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 as a banned breed\. This duty is over seen by the Councils internal Dog Warden Service\. Through this Service the Council requires a suitably experienced Contractor to provide Kennelling Service's for stray dogs throughout the Bradford District\.
