The national independent Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel (the Panel) commissions reviews of serious child safeguarding cases, when children have died or suffered serious harm as a result of abuse and neglect. The Panel undertakes national thematic reviews, and assess and appraise local child safeguarding practice reviews, in order to improve learning, professional practice and outcomes for children. The Panel has its own statutory powers, is independent of government and operates across England. The Panel are seeking to renew their contract to deliver print, online, broadcast and social media monitoring.
