Independent legal advisory services for Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage (CCUS) Programme and Greenhouse Gas Removals (GGR) related matters.

The Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) requires independent legal advisory services to support the delivery of its Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage (CCUS) and Greenhouse Gas Removals (GGR) programmes.

The services include legal and commercial advice supporting the development, negotiation and implementation of CCUS and GGR business models and contractual arrangements; regulatory and licensing matters; network and infrastructure arrangements; programme assurance; and wider legal advice associated with the development and delivery of CCUS and GGR projects.

Services will be commissioned through individual work packages during the contract period according to departmental requirements.
