## Description

The Castle Mills Sluice is located on the River Foss, in the Foss Basin in York city centre\. Optioneering took place earlier in 2023, to narrow down a preferred option to replace the original \(no longer in-situ\) eel pass\. A preferred option has been selected as an outcome of this process and detailed design is required to enable its construction in summer 2024\.
