Wellingborough Homes invites expressions of interest from Contractors for the new build construction of 23 flats in Wellingborough. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to tender for a Design and Build Contract taking the scheme from planning permission through to completion. Contractors will be required to be a member of Constructionline and a recognised Safety Scheme in Procurement. Inclusion upon the list cannot guarantee that a tender will be invited. The estimated Contract value is £2.1M excl. VAT. The contract will be awarded to the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT). MEAT for this Contract is quality 40% and cost 60%, further details to be provided in the invitation to tender. Those wishing to respond to this notice should contact the undersigned at the stated email address to request consideration for inclusion on the tender list and by submitting all supporting information as detailed below by 21st August, 2017 :

• Brief resumé of company, management and workforce structure, experience of new build social housing, company location and financial values of work undertaken. • Copy of three years accounts and bank reference details • Membership registration number of Constructionline • Membership registration number of an approved Safety Scheme in Procurement • Membership of relevant trade organisations including NHBC/Premier

Responses will be assessed and shortlisted based upon their suitability and, if selected following the shortlisting exercise, you would be required to comply with a PQQ prior to the final tender list being established.

Additional information: The scheme at Lea Way, Wellingborough has planning permission for 23 no. 1 and 2 bed general needs flats. Wellingborough Homes are seeking to procure a contractor to deliver this scheme on a design and build basis. A start on site is required on the scheme prior to December 2017.
