## Description

The project has been identified as a unique opportunity for Cheshire East Council to drive forward the provision of both football pitches and facilities within Crewe by working with a local development partner and the Football Foundation to achieve this\.\\r \\r The Council's Playing Pitch & Outdoor Sport Strategy \(draft 2023 - to be adopted 2024\) identifies a shortfall of two third generation artificial grass \(3G\) pitches within the Crewe area, this project will help to reduce this shortfall\.\\r \\r The scope is for the provision of a Football Development Partner for King George V Playing Field, Crewe\. Following initial feasibility works, there appears to be scope, subject to the relevant consents being obtained, to develop a 3G pitch with associated ancillary facilities on the site\.\\r \\r The estimated contract value above is based on a concession value\. \\r \\r This procurement exercise will be conducted on Cheshire East Borough Council electronic Contract and Tender Management System at the www\.the-chest\.org\.uk Organisations will be invited to bid and will need to provide the additional required information through the Contract and Tender Management System\.
