Social Value Portal

Description

The Social Value Portal provides an online cloud-based application for the comparison, measurement and management of Social Value commitments made by bidders through procurement, and the monitoring of its delivery through contract management, according to the principles of the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012. The service is run as a subscription model, with account setup, on boarding and the development of a Social Value Calculator included as part of the subscription. Procurement projects allow a project page to be created with a specific list of Social Value measures; suppliers are invited to register with the portal and upload their responses and evidence. The responses may then be evaluated for Social Value. Projects in delivery will be monitored. Successful suppliers are required to register and subscribe to the contract management service that allows them to upload evidence to demonstrate that they have met their commitments and to measure their social value contribution. The Services required for this Call-Off Contract are in alignment with the G Cloud service.
