Thurrock Council is planning to tender to appoint a provider to deliver a service which provides information, advice, and support for people upon diagnosis of Dementia.

Support and Information Service for Dementia is an aid for supporting adults to improve their wellbeing, by providing advice, signposting, and support for their condition of Dementia

The aim of this service in Thurrock is to provide personalised and confidential support to people affected by dementia, always ensuring that their needs shape the service they receive. Specialist information will be provided, and practical support given to maintain independence, health and enjoyment of life.
